Julie and Morgan were married on Cox Bay Beach, surrounded by their closest family and friends. What an incredible day for their Tofino Wedding!

After spending a leisurely morning getting ready, Julie and Morgan made their way down to the beach where all their guests were gathered for their Tofino Wedding. The intimate ceremony took place tucked away in a small alcove. The thick fog and crashing waves made it feel like their personal oasis. The delicate decor was absolutely perfect, and Julie & Morgan’s personality shone through every aspect of their wedding.

We were honoured to receive Best Overall Wedding Photography at the BC Wedding Awards for images submitted from their day, and are so grateful to Julie and Morgan for allowing us to capture the essence and spirit of their Tofino Wedding.

Julie and Morgan first met in Whistler, and two years later Morgan proposed on their dock. They share a love for the outdoors, laughing, their two adorable pups, and were able to incorporate all of their passions into their amazing wedding day. Julie has been planning her wedding since she was young, and you could see the time and thought that went into every detail of the day.

As the ceremony began, magical fog started to roll in and lingered while the couple said their vows. Julie and Morgan are both light spirited, and their emotional ceremony was filled with tears and laughter as they sealed their vows with a pinkie promise. Since their friends and family live far away, they wanted to always remember sharing their wedding day with those who love and support them the most.

“We want our guests to have a fun and light hearted day. We want to remember the little moments of the day, like when Julie walks down the aisle and we see each other for the first time. We want to be able to remember what this day is really about, us coming together and committing to the rest of our lives and our love.”

The incredible fog remained after the ceremony, just long enough for us to quickly take some photos of Julie and Morgan on the beach. As they headed to their cocktail hour at The Shore, the fog lifted and they were able to enjoy the sun overlooking the harbour.
