Whistler, BC is home to the largest ski resort in North America, dozens of world-class hotels and hundreds of amazing restaurants. Add in hundreds of kilometres of hiking and mountain bike trails and five lakes within the city limits, there are activities to suit every visitor and resident in every season. It’s no surprise really that there is an abundance of beautiful Whistler wedding venues.

We have been lucky enough to attend and photograph weddings in all of the wedding venues in Whistler. Here is a guide to our favourite Whistler wedding venues, including a few notes and photos of each. 1. Audain Art Museum

The Audain Art Museum is located just steps from Whistler Village. It is actually situated right in the middle of the day parking lots. A modern architectural masterpiece joining wood and metal aspects, surrounded by evergreen trees. 2. Dusty’s Bar and BBQ

Whistler’s original watering hole is located at the base of the Creekside Gondola in Creekside Village. With an old western theme, the bar turns into a country elegant wedding venue that serves amazing food with an awesome patio. 3. Fairmont Chateau Whistler

The Fairmont name is synonymous with luxury and the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is no different. A truly 5-star experience located in Whistler’s upper village with the ability to host weddings of any size. 4. Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler

Located in Whistler’s upper village, just steps from the valley trail and Lost Lake, the Four Seasons Whistler is a 5-Star hotel worth exploring. Featuring an in-house spa, steakhouse, out-door heated pool, hot tub and valet parking, the Four Seasons Whistler has all of the amenities your guests will want. 5. Nita Lake Lodge

Nita Lake Lodge is a boutique luxury hotel and spa located on the shores of Nita Lake in Whistler’s Creekside Village. The iconic Porte-Cochere is one of the most recognizable wedding ceremony locations in Whistler. When combined with amazing food, a spa and hotel rooms with stunning views over Nita Lake, Nita Lake Lodge has everything to make your wedding perfect. 6. Private Residences

Whistler has an abundance of private residences that are vacation or investment homes for the owners and that sit empty for most of the year. Many of these homes are available for rent on Airbnb or VRBO and provide great options for smaller intimate ceremonies. 7. Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center

The Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center was built in cooperation with the Squamish and Lil’wat Nations whose traditional territory Whistler sits upon. The aesthetics of the beautiful building speak for themselves, with very little decor needed. 8. Whistler Blackcomb

Why not get married at 1850 meters of elevation, watch the sunset from an alpine deck and look down over the lights of Whistler Village at night? Whistler Blackcomb hosts 6 on-mountain venues, with several options at the top of the Whistler Gondola and Blackcomb Gondola. 9. Whistler Sliding Center

Just a few minutes’ drive from Whistler’s upper village, the Whistler Sliding Center is located in the Fitzsimmons Valley on the south-east side of Blackcomb Mountain. Featuring panoramic views of the valley and Whistler Village, it offers some of the best ceremonies, reception and sunset views Whistler has to offer.
