We had the pleasure of working with Steve from Tara Lilly Photography. We had an amazing experience and would recommend 100%. Steve made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera, and was so fun to work with. He captured our wedding so beautifully. He was present and warm, while also giving us space to be in the moment - when we looked through our full gallery, we were not sure how he was in so many places at once! We got a sneak peak of our highlights so quickly and our full gallery was delivered exactly on time. Honestly, we could not imagine working with anyone else! Thank you!!

Yesterday Steve and Tara conducted our daughter's wedding on Whistler mountain and the post wedding photos back in town. I was blown away by Steve's ability to put everyone at ease during the photo shoot and the way he moved seamlessly from group shot to group shot. Tara and Steve made our wedding so special! Tara was so unbelievable the photos she got of us are amazing! We were blown away. She let us enjoy the day with somehow catching every shot! Tara photographed our wedding this past August, as well as our engagement photos, and they are amazing. She is very professional and really knows her stuff. She took the time to listen to our requests for photos and didn’t miss anything. She was by far the best professional we had at our wedding and many guests complimented how detailed she was. She was kind enough to also photoshop some family photos for us a couple months later. Highly recommend!

The photo galleries were sent to us shortly after our wedding day, which was so exciting. Tara shot our engagement photoshoot and Tara and her husband Steve together shot our wedding. We did our engagement shoot in Whistler and it happened to be pouring rain in the village the day we travelled all the way from Victoria to do it. Luckily Tara knew a spot we could drive to at a higher elevation so the rain would actually be snow and we ended up with the most magical winter wonderland photos! On our wedding day the rain struck again slightly derailing our wedding day timeline / photo plans for the day. Tara and Steve were in touch with our planner and wedding party throughout the day (taking this off our hands) and took charge of adjusting the timeline and coming up with new shooting locations based on the weather conditions. I was definitely stressed watching my plans be derailed and they could both sense this and brought the best calming / cheerful energy as well as taking care of any of the logistical things so I didn’t have to worry - seriously they were ON TOP OF IT. I was also told by my planning team that they were helping them out with their tasks and drying off chairs etc before the ceremony as well! We are so thrilled with how our photos turned out. Highly recommend hiring Tara if you want 1) happy calm vibes 2) an experienced professional who is not thrown by last minute challenges 3) someone who is organized and will make sure everything stays on time and 4) beautiful photos!

We got married at Sea to Sky Gondola which can be a tricky venue with all the different locations and views, but they captured every single moment perfectly! They were super easy to work with, very communicative, helped us with poses, communicated the first look, affordable, and very fast turnover rate for photos! Steve was an awesome wedding photographer! Having photos getting taken does not come natural to us but Steve made sure to make us feel comfortable the whole day!
