Whistler Rustic Barn Wedding | Leslie + Ryan

Amidst mountains and deep-growth forests, Whistler’s Callaghan Valley offered the perfect place for Leslie and Ryan’s rustic barn wedding. Their forest ceremony provided the beautiful balance of intimacy and seclusion amongst all the natural elements. We could not stop looking at all of the emerald green moss and the giant ancient cedar trees.

The ceremony took place in the forest nearby; providing a breathtaking back drop as Leslie and Ryan said “I do”, surrounded by the natural charm of the canopy all around.

After the forest ceremony, guests made their way to the rustic barn for the reception. The weathered wood, exposed beams, and strings of lights all added to a an enchanting atmosphere in this charming venue. The rustic, old time barn is built in the middle of the beautiful wilderness and is on the grounds of Canadian Wilderness Adventure, a local adventure based company.

As the sun moved behind the trees, Leslie and Ryan were able to take advantage of this beautiful glow for some intimate evening photography, before joining their guests for a candlelit dinner within the old barn.

Leslie and Ryan’s big day was nothing short of perfect. The day was truly a pleasure to capture; the love, the laughter and celebratory embraces.
