Sierra + Michael’s Dreamcatcher Wedding in Pemberton
Sierra and Michael’s Dreamcatcher wedding was a celebration full of romance, whimsy, and personal meaning, set against the stunning backdrop of Pemberton, BC. From their first meeting as 18-year-old undergraduates to this magical day surrounded by mountains, their journey is a story of love, friendship, and shared adventure.

A Love Story That Spans Coasts
Sierra and Michael’s story began in September 2014, in the first month of their undergraduate studies. Introduced by one of Michael’s best friends, they spent late nights talking in the common lounge, quickly forming a deep connection. By October 15, 2014, they were officially dating, embarking on a relationship that would support them through five years of undergrad, a Master’s degree, and a Juris Doctor.
When Sierra moved to Nova Scotia for law school, Michael followed, proving that long-distance is no match for true love. Eight years after they first met, Michael proposed at Crystal Crescent Beach in Nova Scotia — a thoughtful nod to Sierra’s joke about wanting a sunset proposal in Hawaii. He crafted a moment that was uniquely theirs, complete with a lei and the most heartfelt promise of a shared future.
A Whimsical Dreamcatcher Wedding in Pemberton
For their wedding day, Sierra envisioned something romantic, light, and airy with a touch of country charm — a nod to her lifelong love of horses. Dreamcatcher Meadows provided the perfect setting, offering rolling fields, mountains in the distance, and, of course, a chance for some equestrian-inspired portraits.
With 80 guests traveling from across Canada and the U.S., the day felt intimate yet celebratory. The ceremony and portraits captured the natural beauty of the farm while emphasizing the couple’s connection and the joy of sharing their love with friends and family.
Capturing Every Moment
Even without a detailed vision, Sierra and Michael trusted the photography team to capture all the essential moments: the anticipation and excitement of getting ready, the emotional walk down the aisle, heartfelt family photos, and candid moments with friends. Dreamcatcher Meadows offered the perfect mix of natural beauty and rustic charm, including a few photos with horses — a nod to Sierra’s childhood passion.
A Fairytale Celebration
From soft mountain light during the ceremony to whimsical moments at the reception, the entire day felt like a storybook. The farm’s open-air spaces and natural scenery created a light, airy atmosphere, while heartfelt conversations, laughter, and connection reminded everyone of the love at the center of the celebration.
Sierra and Michael’s Dreamcatcher wedding was more than just a day — it was a reflection of their story, their shared journey, and the love that brought them from east coast dorms to the mountains of British Columbia.
For couples dreaming of a mountain-side, whimsical Pemberton wedding, Dreamcatcher Meadows proves to be a setting where personal stories and fairytale moments come alive.
